Futuristic Faucets
These faucets from Equa emit a colored LED depending on the temperature of the water that flows through it. Red is hot, violet is warm, blue is cold. This feature is a novel idea that should be filed under "why didn't we think of that". Currently these are only sold in Europe but look for them stateside within the next year.

Get your own light and attach it to your favourite faucet. Would definitely make doing dishes in the dark more fun :)
