Techniques for Cleaning Tile Grout

We've found that oxygen bleach and water work great for cleaning tile grout but to thoroughly clean your tile you'll need to take the time to remove the top layer of old grout then re-apply new grout. This is a time consuming process and you must be careful as to not scratch your tile but you'll have a bathroom or kitchen that looks brand new.

  • It is a lot safer to clean tiles with vinegar/water solution. Bleach is dangerous for health, so I recommend to everyone to avoid it. Vinegar is strong enough to clean and disinfect everything.
  • Water and bleach work well, but bleach is dangerous. I think that cleaning tile grout with vinegar/water solution is a lot safer and better. I recommend it to everyone. Vinegar is strong enough to remove dirt and to disinfect.
