Brownstoner's Brooklyn Flea

brooklyn-flea.jpg

It's only a month away and the buzz for Brownstoner's Brooklyn Flea continues to build.

This open air outdoor market is shaping up to be the largest in New York City (Fort Green nabe of Brooklyn to be exact). Starting April 6 and every Sunday after, you can expect more than 200 independent vendors selling new and vintage furniture, lighting, records, clothes, jewelry, and crafts.

We are particularly interested in checking out the vendors that will be a part of the Design*Sponge Collective and the multitude of vintage furniture and architectural salvage groups.

While the city continues to lose it's street fairs and flea markets, we have high hopes that Brooklyn Flea will re-vitalize the experience of street shopping by having great vendors, a nice location, and folks involved who love their community and bring energy and character to the event.

For more information about the Brooklyn Flea check out their website where they highlight new vendors and event news and if you are interested in being a vendor send an email to flea@brownstoner.com.

Here's a map to the Brooklyn Flea.
