Build It Yourself: Clothes Drying Rack

clothes-drying.jpg

It can be so irritating to line dry clothes, but if you've ever had a garment ruined in the dryer, you know it's still quite often a necessity and at the same time an energy saver. Now maybe it's easier to go out and buy a drying rack for yourself, but where's the fun in that?! Here's a great step-by-step process from the HandymanWire for how to build your own.

The plans are for a large rack that the directions say will fit in a garage or basement--for apartments scale down the dimensions. Materials needed include wooden dowels and hardwood support pieces, along with your saw and a drill for making the holes for the dowels. Good luck.

Great idea! I've been looking for a way around clothing hanging on racks around the house!
