Milwaukee Wet/Dry Vac is now Cordless!

milwaukee-wet-dry-vac.jpg

Unfortunately spills and leaks don't always happen in close proximity to drains which makes for a messy cleanup, that was until the wet/dry shop vac appeared. Milwaukee now makes a cordless model that is ideal for areas that aren't powered like workshops and garages.

Harry Sawyers of The Hardware Aisle has issues with the estimated 11-16 minute battery life (depending on model) and we couldn't agree more. But I guess any bigger mess would require a more industrial type of vac which would need the oomph of 120 volts. I guess think of these as the Dirt Devil of wet/dry vacs which are great for small jobs and convenient to use but sometimes you just gotta break out the real vacuum.

That is a real advantage over the larger wet-dry vac that for smaller spills will make this so much faster and lighter. My wife (your mother) wouldn't think of moving the big unit we keep, but this one I am sure, if available, she would. Thanks for the news.
