Do-It-Yourself without Debt

work-boots-homeowner.jpg

This homeowner and his family have renovated their 1913 tudor house (which they bought for $65,000 twelve years ago) with pure sweat equity and have managed to completely transform a home that was on the brink of being condemned all without going into debt and living and spending within their means.

One of the most significant reasons they've been able to stay solvent is that they do not use credit cards. An usual lifestyle choice in this country as it's our American right to charge away! Although I may not choose their path I found their renovation story inspirational.
