It may be summer, but now is the time to hit the stores if you're in the market for a new home heating system. Not sure whether you should invest in a furnace, boiler or heat pump? For instance, if you live in a climate with very cold weather, like Chicago, a heat pump is out of the question. Because heat pumps utilize air from outside of the home, the system would have to work overtime in such a climate.
