It's inevitable. When home improvement projects are involved, there's bound to be touches of procrastination--even when you're a frequent DIYer. When the to-do list grows it can be stressful, but at some point you've just got to tackle it.

  • I've found that sharing my projects on HowIDIY.com helps me fight procrastination. Once lots of people know about your projects, you'll feel pressured to finish them faster (or maybe just finish them period). Plus... it's nice to get positive feedback once in a while! :)

    One sure fire way to overcome procrastination is to invite guests over on a date in the near future to view your completed XYZ project. Pressure works every time!
