Choosing Paint Colors Just Got a Lot Easier for Homeowners with Photoshop Skills

While color visualizer tools are now featured on most major paint manufacturers' web sites, homeowners often struggle to envision how the color combinations they create for sample homes online will translate to reality when applied to their own homes.

Sherwin Williams' new downloadable color palette removes most of the guesswork from the process by allowing homeowners to download more than 1500 paint colors directly to their computers, for free.

Once you've downloaded your color palette, simply upload a digital photo of your home's interior or exterior into Photoshop and start "painting." By creating virtual examples of potential new color schemes, you can easily narrow down your color options without having to waste a drop of paint. Color us impressed!

Great improvements in these. I've used Benjamin Moore's and although it's not perfect because you're seeing it through a computer, it does help decide trim and wall colors. Here are some other tips I found that can help with exterior colors, which can be tricky to decide on.
