Lancaster Conservatories and Sunrooms

We recently discovered Lancaster Conservatories. They offer DIY or professionally installed Sunrooms, Conservatories, and Greenhouses that blend into the character of your home. Their conservatory and sunroom kits are comprehensive and can be installed by one of their certified dealers, the contractor of your choice, or by the homeowner.

The use of solid hardwood enables homeowners to color match the exterior of the room addition perfectly. The interior of the room can be painted or stained per customer preference. If you choose Lancaster as your builder they will take care of the painting and staining prior to delivery requiring only a light touch up coat upon completion of the assembly.

For the homeowner who wants to build their own conservatory or sunroom a full step-by-step installation manual will guide them through the entire process. All fasteners, sealants, adhesives, and flashings are included with the room components. The majority of all components arrive pre-cut, mitered, and pre-drilled ensuring proper and accurate installation. The wall sections arrive fully assembled with the operating hardware and gaskets already in place. Once the walls are standing the pre-cut rafters are set in place and then it's ready for the roof. The craftsmanship required to install a Lancaster project is comparable to that of a custom deck and only basic carpenter tools are required.

Design, Planning, and Permit assistance comes standard with every Lancaster project. All drawings necessary for footing layout, floor structure layout, and room assembly is included with every project. A permit packet is assembled by our design team that incorporates the aspects of your build combined with the Lancaster product to ensure compatibility and compliance. Engineer stamps are available if necessary for code approval.

Lancaster also keeps product safety in mind and offers only safety tempered glass and has been engineered to exceed 225 mph wind load and 77 psf of snow load.

  • yeah getting a DIY conservatory is so much cheaper and it would definitely improve the look and feel of someone's home.
  • The conservatories shown above are beautiful! I think more home owners should consider adding a conservatory to their property - they can add value to the probety (great given the current market) as well as being a comfortable place to relax.
  • Are these UK conservatories?

Those look much nicer than many add on sunrooms, which often do NOT blend with the house. Great find!

conservatories and sun rooms are such a great addition to a home. we're getting more and more nj and westchester homeowners requesting them. lets people feel like they're bringing the outdoors inside--and it means they can enjoy the "outside" long after the weather has turned too cold to sit out on a patio.
