Home Depot to Answer Your Questions on Twitter

home-depot-twitter.jpg

If you're frustrated with the lack of customer service you've received at your local Home Depot or can't reach anyone in the company directly to explain your needs, then get on Twitter and have a chat with their spokesperson.

Like many companies (including us), Twitter has been a great way to communicate directly with your audience as well as help monitor what people are saying about your company. I've been following TheHomeDepot and it seems they are attentive to questions and genuinely interested in helping people.

From their profile:
I'm a spokesperson, joined Twitter in May to offer another way for customers to ask about their projects and our stores. information@homedepot.com

We've also found Lowes on Twitter but they are not as engaged and have yet to interact at the same level as Home Depot has.

If you don't follow Charles & Hudson what are you waiting for!

UPDATE: Jeld Wen is now on Twitter. If you are a retailer or manufacturer in the home improvement or remodeling space please let us know your Twitter name and we'll share with everyone. Also if you follow anybody great please leave that in the comments.

Looking for help with my "Generac 7550 exl" generator, bought at Home Depot (Dewitt / E. Syracuse) 09/06. It has 18 to 20 total hours of Run Time, and is only used for Power Outages to my home. The Fuel & Oil are Fresh.
The problem is that after it's last use, it will now only start and run 10 to 20 seconds shut off. I need to contact someone locally to solve this problem as soon as possible, can you please offer me some help?

    Thank You
    J. Prettyman
  • Jim, I'm with Home Depot Customer Care. Sorry you're having problems with your generator. If you haven't tried already, go to www.generac.com. You can find a dealer near you. I've located six within 10 miles of the Dewitt/E.Syracuse store. You can discuss warranty and repair with them.

Let me know if this works for you. You can email me directly.

    Thanks,
