An Illuminating Indoor Air Cleaner

wellness-light-kids-cfl-air-cleaner.jpg

According to the website for WellnessLight KIDS, This is no ordinary light bulb. It sure isn't. Now that we are finally recognizing the dangers of indoor air pollution, it's time we seek solutions to eliminate these dangers and the compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) from WellnessLight KIDS is a leap in the right direction.

This 25-watt CFL serves two purposes in your home and specifically a child's room. It claims to clean the air and provide a full-spectrum of light. Sounds like a tall order but apparently when the proper CFL is coated in naturally-derived nano-TiO2 photocatalytic it works with the power of light to create oxidizing agents and works as nature's own air cleaner and the high-quality, full-spectrum light which simulates the natural light of the sun and has been shown to improve school performance and enhance general health and overall well-being.

We recently had the pleasure of chatting with one of the owners, Robert Chadwick of WellnessLight KIDS and according to him the US is behind on the health benefits of these lights as they've been used extensively in hospitals throughout Asia for years. Robert states that these lights have been shown to be very effective against a variety of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and the negative health risks associated with indoor air pollutants in Asia and are on their way to becoming standard in many homes throughout the region

We have hopes these lights take hold in America and for the millions of families suffering from indoor air-pollutants it seems that using these lights should be a no-brainer. If you've got more questions check out their helpful FAQ and to get your lights delivered now order here.

  • Thanks for your support guy, and I see you are helping people as well! I’m on my way to your site now!
  • There are a lot of CFLs here in asia, but they're advertised here as energy savers. I do not know if all CFLs have an anti-bacterial quality and if that is a special light bulb.

Another good indoor air cleaner are Air conditioning systems with silver ions.

I wasn't aware of Ted Turner and the mercury vaccines but these days nothing surprises me. I am aware however of what indoor air pollution can do to anyone, let alone children. Cancer, learning disorders, asthma exacerbation, headaches, damage to the liver, kidney and central nervous system to name just a few. If there is ANY relief for VOCs, it should be promoted and made a standard, not an option. If Ted Turner is doing what you state, his time will come! However, the true danger you should be angry over is VOCs/indoor air pollution. I applaud Charles & Hudson for addressing this situation and the Wellness Light for finding a unique solution. By the way, the standard amount of mercury in a CFL is 4 mg. It is so small it wouldn't cover the tip of a #2 pencil. Besides the obvious energy savings, a CFL lasts 10 times longer (less products in landfills) than incandescent light bulbs and the U.K. if everyone switched, it could reduce CO2 emissions by 2 to 3 million tons annually.
  • Haha! This MUST be an April Fools joke! A mercury filled light bulb that requires a 12 step HAZMAT cleanup process being good for kids? Man, they will spin anything to sell these to people wont they. I bet Ted Turner helped fund this too. He is for mass population reduction. Google it if you dont believe me. He is funding mercury laced vaccinations in Ukraine through WHO. It sounds far fetched but he agrees with the premises of the Georgia Guidestones. Google that name too. The guide stones want to maintain humanity under 500 million. Thats a 93% world population reduction folks. Now that you know that, think about mercury light bulbs and mercury in the vaccinations.

Sorry, I'm sticking to my old fashioned light bulbs which dont give me headaches.
