Will Work For Clothes

Caroline Woolard is smart. She's created this functional-meets-fashion work dress - but it isn't for sale. If you'd like to own one of her creations, you've got to offer her your services in exchange. Some items she's received in exchange for the dress: a violin concert in her studio, a chapbook of poems, unlimited access to do laundry and a flat in Berlin to visit. Sounds like some good swaps to me.

This work dress was the launch project for OurGoods, a peer to peer network for the exchange of goods and services between artists, designers, craftspeople, and anyone with a creative project.
